I mean REALLY listen to her as she describes the additional challenges that Black women in corporate America face.

Black women in corporate America aren’t competing just against their peers in order to advance.

They have to succeed against the very system itself…a system that was designed to keep them from succeeding.

This is a story that we’ve heard Black women tell in episode after episode of Working While Black.

So it is fitting that we conclude the series with this episode because telling the exact same stories over and over is not productive.

Doing something about the systemic inequities that have produced these stories over generation after generation of Black professionals is how we make progress.

Please keep this in mind and use this Working While Black series as not an informational series, but an informational series that serves as the foundation for taking meaningful action.
